It’s spring and time to plant. We have new plants going in the ground in the US and Europe. We are kicking off our five-year demonstration project on the production of giant reed for use with wood in the production of particle board. Combining wood and giant reed to produce boards that perform as well or better, as research has shown, can be a means for alleviating scarcity of wood caused by environment degradation while providing significant cost savings over wood-only boards. Hexas is planting two plantations of giant reed in Hungary. The resulting feedstock will be used to produce particle board in an industrial production facility. We are excited to share our progress with you.
